One of my mentors and teachers, Lori Carson, wrote this song...I was going to cover it for a tribute album for her favorite charity. (It was between "Part Missing" and "Way of the Past.") We recorded it while I was making my record, and then suddenly, the tribute album was scrapped, and one of the songs for my CD wasn't coming together. I wrote Lori, asking if I could close out my CD with the song and she said yes. (So sweet.) Later, she told me she cried when she first heard the song, which meant more to me than I can say.
